I'm definitely a doer and not a sitter, I'm a mom, recently divorced, and graduate student. I have a lot of energy for what I do and I work out on a regular basis. My kids are very important to me, but I also know I need time to be an adult. I really like hugs, books, and warm conversations.

A first date -- I would prefer a cup of coffee in a local cafe. If a friendship develops and interest begins -- then a night on the town, dancing sounds fun, but so does a day at the beach, an outdoor concert and picnic, watching your kids or my kids in sports and cheering them on. I like things easy and fun. I am as comfortable in jeans, but I clean up well. People describe me as classy and down to earth.

Currently I read in philosophy, sociological journals, geography, and spiritual practices. I play the Celtic harp though I am what I would call a long term beginner! I am on the whole upbeat and happy. I really enjoy my kids. I tend to be organized, like things straight forward, and I play well with others. I listen well and like to learn from others as well as share ideas. I have an interest in the healing arts and participate in sweat lodges, accupuncture, homeopathy, and massage, things that add to my healthy self care. I range from very fit, to a few pounds depending on my schedule, but I function best in life if I have fun but active leisure time. All that said, I lead a full life full of commitments and interests, and I seek someone who also has a busy life but who wants someone to talk over their day with, and would like to have someone to share leisure time with.

I think I have a lot to offer someone in relationship, but I am picky about who I will be with, and I think I can off put some men. I am not for the faint hearted! I can be intensely involved, mentally quick, and physically challenge you. I will as quickly completely compete with you, as laugh at the game. I love my freedom, but when I do land, I will take good care of you.
