I'm very Scorpio, and especially watery. I'm in graduate school making art, music, video, and maybe a few connections. I want to teach. My personality type is ENFJ (The Teacher) and I can't stop learning. I love school.

Apart from wanting monogamy, loyalty, dedication, passion and all those other scorpio hot words, I need someone intellectual who shares my love for Tom Waits, Animal Collective, Leonard Cohen, and other key musical markers on my aesthetic/cultural map. Orson Welles, Peter Sellers, and Woody Allen have soft spots in my heart as well as Wes Anderson, Kurasawa, and Ridley Scott among others. Shared multimedia culture and taste is really important to me.

My career in art is really important to me too and because I spend so much time on it, I would be happiest with someone who could also be my creative collaborator. Again, this is why taste is so important.

Coincidentally I'm good with money and practical things. My apartment is clean, and I stay on top of all the mundane stuff. Forward thought and planning are important features I expect in someone else too.

Predictabily scorpio, I'm interested in psychology and go around psychoanalyzing people on a daily basis. This is also why I like astrology - as a tool for evaluating personalities. As someone who is absorbs, holds and spends years processing pain, grief and sadness as a general rule, i find it gratifying and soothing to be able to explain away other people's personality quirks which I might otherwise be prone to turn inward as attacks. As a result, I am a an extremely open, communicative, and friendly person. Atypical of my scorpio tag, I'm not too secretive. It's a lot easier to be honest and upfront and live knowing you have to be than to tangle oneself in a web of dark secrets and even worse, lies.

Even if I just make a friend on this site, it will have been worth it.

Really I am probably just looking for the male version of myself. Yar.
