I have heard that there are people who won't get out of bed until they know their daily horoscope. While I think that is taking this concept just a little too far, I nevertheless like to read my horoscope sometimes, if it's around (like in a newspaper). While it is interesting to read, I don't take it too too seriously; I think if people really want to know what is in store for them they should consult with a professional astrologer. I'm not saying the newspaper horoscopes are completely untrue... but I think it is a good idea to use common sense when you're reading them, because they are so general.

There is an alternative to consulting with a professional astrologer: get serious about the study, and learn it for yourself! There's a great deal more to it than what you can get out of *any* newspaper horoscope, even a good one. Or if you prefer, visit my web site and tell me what you would like. I'm not here to promote my business, but I do offer my services, even if your request might involve "coloring outside the lines".

Just remember, there's a lot more to *anyone's* chart than just the Sun sign. Some astrologers do a particularly good job of working with nothing but the Sun sign (e.g., Susan Miller), but there are necessarily serious limitations to that approach. Consider looking further, if you aren't getting what you want from the Sun sign only.
